This Privacy & Cookie Policy explains how Diadem Edge collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information in connection with Diadem Edge. It also explains the choices available to you.
In this policy, "Diadem Edge," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Diadem Edge, and "you" and "your" refer to the person using the service or interacting with us.
What We Collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may collect identifiers and account data such as your name, email address, login credentials or authentication tokens, and account preferences. We may also collect watchlists, saved symbols, feature usage, support messages, device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, log data, cookie identifiers, and security event data.
If you purchase paid features in the future, billing and transaction data may be collected by us or by our payment processors. We do not intend to store full payment card numbers on our own systems unless explicitly stated elsewhere.
Sources of Information
We collect personal information directly from you, automatically from your device and browser when you use the service, from service providers that help us authenticate users or process transactions, and from business partners or data vendors where permitted by law.
How We Use Data
We use information to provide and maintain the service, authenticate users, deliver ratings and watchlists, personalize basic product settings, monitor performance, prevent abuse, investigate fraud and security incidents, respond to support requests, comply with legal obligations, and improve product quality.
If you opt in where required, we may also use contact information to send service notices, product updates, or marketing communications. You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We do not use advertising, cross-site tracking, or social media cookies, and we do not use browser storage to build advertising profiles. Our own servers do not set cookies. The service currently relies on two kinds of browser storage, described below.
Strictly necessary storage. We record your cookie choice in your browser's local storage under the key de_analytics_consent. It stores only whether you accepted or declined analytics, contains no identifier, and is exempt from consent requirements because without it we could not honour your choice on later visits.
Product analytics. We use PostHog, provided by PostHog, Inc., to understand which features are used, diagnose errors, and improve the product. While analytics is active, PostHog sets a cookie and matching local storage entries whose names begin with ph_, holding a randomly generated device identifier and session information. The PostHog cookie has a maximum lifetime of 365 days. No analytics storage is written before consent where consent is required, and declining removes any PostHog storage that was previously set.
Visitors in the EU, EEA, and UK are asked before any analytics storage is created. Elsewhere analytics is enabled by default. In either case you can change your decision at any time by opening , and withdrawing is as straightforward as granting.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because we set no essential cookies of our own, blocking cookies will not prevent the service from working, though it may reset choices that are stored in your browser.
Data Sharing and Security
We may disclose personal information to service providers and contractors that help us with hosting, infrastructure, analytics, authentication, communications, customer support, payments, and security. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, in connection with business transfers, or with your direction.
We do not sell personal information to data brokers. If our data practices ever change in a way that qualifies as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law, we will update this policy and provide any required notice or choice mechanisms.
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to maintain accounts, provide requested services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support security, audit, and backup processes.
Your Choices

Children's Privacy

International Data Transfers
Our analytics provider, PostHog, processes data on infrastructure in the United States. If you use the service from the EU, EEA, or UK and consent to analytics, the information described in the analytics section above is transferred to the United States, a country that has not received a general adequacy decision covering all transfers. We rely on the safeguards in our data processing agreement with the provider, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable. You can avoid this transfer entirely by declining analytics.
International and State-Specific Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under laws such as California privacy law or other U.S. state privacy laws. If those laws apply, this policy should be supplemented with the notices, categories, and rights disclosures required for your actual data practices.
